About Us: Hijra House Association (HHA) is a Pass Christian/Biloxi, Mississippi based organizing, advocacy, and community development organization. Presently organizing around four different areas of work (Arts, Food, Energy, and Water – A. F.E.W.), Hijra House specializes in promoting, customizing, and replicating best practices in African-American, minority, and low-income communities in Mississippi and throughout the United States Southeast. Hijra House is governed by a four member board (1 seat vacant as of Q4 2025) and has managed slightly over $250,000 annually for two of the last three years.
